Welcome

When I went to Massage School in the mid 90's and started taking CE classes

we were taught the "No Pain - No Gain" approach to massage.

I hated it! Say what you will but I don't like pain, I'd ask my instructors why people would come back for that ? But that was the understanding of the times, the theory was that the damage the massage did triggered the healing response in the body and the body would defend itself from this attack and heal the new damage and what ever

the client came in complaining about too.

About Us

Dedicated Educator

People ask me why I teach, they would say things like "Those who can .... do. Those who can't .... teach"

The reason I taught massage therapy for about 16 years is ....  I KNOW how much massage therapy training has changed my life! I remember being in class back in 1995 and I remember the state of my finances prior to graduating from that class. I remember changing jobs over and over because I would get to a point in every job that I would ask myself "is this what you are going to do for the rest of your life" the answer to that question was always NO, until I became a massage therapist! I have always been glad to do that for others!

Ralph Waldo Emerson ended his "What is success" poem with these words...  "To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."  That is why I taught Massage for so many years and why I am now venturing into Continuing Education.

This is my first venture into teaching CE's. For some 16 years I taught the basics, I taught students how to become a LMT! Now I want to share what 23 years of working hands on.... what that knowledge and experience has taught me, I want to share what I have learned during my journey!
